Description:
The RS112G is the perfect "grab and Go" for the guitarist that wants big sound without the weight and size. The RS112G is a great choice for running in stereo, studio sessions and plenty of power for keeping up with the band in any situation. I have been using the Creamback Celestion G12M, and G12Hs for a long time now. They are my driver of choice in single 12 and 212 configurations. With more than ample power handling for any head ( I use Rivera Fandangos 55 and 100 watt with no issues) and the smooth, creamy breakup of a Greenback but with the ability to stay clean or provide pinch harmonics on call; they are my favorite Celestion guitar driver of all time. A brilliant speaker indeed.
I also love the G12H(55) "Hendrix driver" and G12H "Anniversary. All work formidably in a 112 or 212 configuration.
The RS112G can be ordered as a sealed cabinet or as the RS112GC with a convertible back that is easily removed to get the "open back" sound for a different flavor. The RS112G comes stock in black Duratex finish with side strap handle, sound isolating feet, parallel Neutriks Speakon connectors, 16 gauge black powder coated grill with a choice of Rev logos, and black nickel corners.
Options: A variety of Tolex coverings are available including black carbon fiber, traditional Fender-style black, tweed, and blue python. Cloth grilles, leather dogbone style handle, metal bar handle, and an ultralite version of the cabinet constructed from marine grade Okume are available options. Contact for pricing on custom options.
Driver Options: 12" Celestion Creamback G12H-75, Creamback G12M-65, drivers in 8 or 16 ohm are my drivers of choice, but all other Celestion Guitar drivers are available as well. I will not use a Greenback in a single 12 cab. That would not be doing either of us a favor. They do not work well.
